BOSSE, the one-hand bottle opener, was created in early 2021. I was inspired to simplify the process of opening a bottle for people with arthritis and other motor impairment. After several prototypes, the final design of BOSSE emerged as a playful and user-friendly solution.

BOSSE differs from other bottle openers by reversing the movement and securing the cap, which eliminates the need for precise movements and makes it easier for individuals with reduced hand strength to open bottles. Moreover, only one hand is needed when using the product which makes the product even more inclusive.

In addition to the functional design, the packaging for BOSSE was carefully crafted to reflect the playful nature of the product. Upon opening the package, BOSSE greets you with its cheerful smile.
